Falling in Love All Over Again

Happy Sunday Everyone! It's Jenny here with something for you to do. I know you are just like me and are waiting with baited breath for all the new goodies from CHA to start arriving on your doorstep. While we wait oh so patiently, I want you to do me a favor. I want you to look at something in your stash and do like i did. Fall in love all over again.

I'm really almost giddy waiting for the new Basic Grey papers to get here. I have been a BG junkie for years now. As I stalked the USPS truck, I pulled out my Cropper Hopper filled to the brim with some of the older stuff. I went way back to the Lollipop Shoppe line for this layout. These colors are so dang yummy. And boy did they work perfectly with my daughter's first day of preschool clothes and gear.

Can you do this for me? Whether it's a long-established manufacturer you're waiting for like me or a newer company or just a type of goodie (rub-ons, letter stickers, etc.). Look to your stash for something that reminds you of that much anticipated arrival. I'd love to see what YOU chose to fall in love with again. Please link me here.

August Sketch

Hey!!! It's Brook just tuning in to share some inspiration! Every month, one of the DT members drafts up a sketch and 2 or 3 of us use it to make one of our layouts in the gallery (these are usually found in the "liftable layouts" category). Here's what I came up with:

This month's sketch is a simple layout using a single 5x7 photo. Because I never can seem to leave enough room for journaling, I planned for lots of space on the right side of the layout. Also, the bottom right can feature a big embellishment or even a second photo if you prefer. The fun thing about using a sketch is making it your own!My layout using the sketch is shown below. If you want to share, link to your layout inspired by this sketch in the comments.

August Challenge - Part 2! "What makes you happy?"

This month we decided to have two challenges!! With two different prizes!!! How cool is that?

Since our theme for July is "All About Me" I would like you to answer this question: "What Makes YOU Happy?" and create a layout around it using one of your MP kits, or a combination of them. Post them in the gallery when you are done, and let me know here if you added one. I will pick a winner at the end of the month and send them a sweet RAK.

As you can see in my layout, I listed 5 things that were making me happy on that particular day.
Here is my journaling:
*Rekindling my love for reading, and vowing to keep it up instead of watching TV…
*A beautiful mountain summer filled with low humidity and cooler temperatures…
*Yummy fresh veggies and fruit from the farmer’s market…
*Being back home and by ourselves…
*Losing 12 lbs and setting a new goal for 10 more by 9/15…

August Challenge!! The "I Was Here" Challenge

Hello, everyone!! How is everyone doing out there? Can you believe that it is August already? School started on July 30th here, so we are already in the swing of a new school year! This month for Mosh Posh the design team chose "All About Me" as the theme and if you have checked out the gallery, you will see that everyone rocked it! It is so fun to see the layouts that directly reflect our wonderful design team. I did a layout that I have been wanting to do for a while:

I did a layout that included lots and lots of journaling about the silly things that I want to remember about my room. This was the room that I had for a year when I studied abroad. I wrote about my shoes, man, I loved those shoes, and about the pictures that are hanging on my wall. Since I can barely remember what I had for breakfast yesterday morning, I knew that I wanted to document these memories so that I will always remember.

What: Here's the challenge: Create a layout using your Mosh Posh kit that documents an, "I Was Here" moment. It can be a picture of a house that you used to live in, a car that you loved, a special place (such as the restaurant where you got engaged), or maybe a favorite vacation spot. It's really a broad topic, but the goal is the same... create a layout that documents that you were there and the memories that you have of that specific place.

When: You have until Friday, August 29th to complete this challenge, which gives you plenty of time to find the perfect picture and get the journaling just right!

Why: Because there is an awesome prize involved, of course! One winner will receive some yummy scrappy goodies! The winner will be chosen randomly, I can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Please list any questions that you have here and I will answer them as soon as possible. Happy Scrapping! :)

6 Mos Memberships going to Autoship when Completed

We have decided that ALL current members who are on a 6 month membership plan will automatically renew to Autoship Status after the term is up. Many members are not receiving the renewal email and are missing kits.

We figure it will be easier for everyone to automatically continue. However, you are not obligated to continue. Simply email us at the end of your 6 months if you need to cancel. Thanks!

Doodlebug Flocking and Glitter Kits

I wanted to see how many more members might be interested in ordering these. They sold out very quickly. Leave a comment if you would like to place an order if I get more in. Thanks!
