Some August peeks for you...

This kit is amazing!  It's so colorful, but subtly so.  I have had so much fun creating with it so far, so I wanted to share some sneaks with you:

Stamping

I love stamping.  I think it adds something special to a project.  I have tons of stamps, but do I use them often?  No.  It scares me to think that I might mess up my project by stamping incorrectly, which has happened before.  I know, you're not surprised at this fact.  I am hoping that these new lovlies will get me over my stamping fear.  First up?  A little something from Cosmo and Unity:

I have to say, I am in LOOOOOOOOVE with this next set:

I have been a huge fan of Papertry Ink for quite some time.  I think they rock their stamps like nobody's business.  You can check out Nicole's blog for some amazing inspiration. 

I could not be more excited about this:

Seriously, Jenni Bowlin ink and mist?  Nothing makes me happier.  The full release can be found on the Ranger site.  I can't wait to see these in person.

Any stamping tips you could share?  I could obviously use them, LOL!

July Sketch

Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great summer so far. It's hot as heck around here, so I've been staying inside as much as possible. But that's all good, since I'm organizing my scrap area. After I'm done scrapping each kit, my work area is ridiculously messy. I can't find my phone. How's that for messy? I'll share photos of my scrap area after it's been cleaned.

Meanwhile, a quick look at July's sketch. I created this one based on a layout I did a while back. And as usual, our takes on it are totally different! Love that. Only goes to show that a sketch is only a starting point, and you can make any sketch your own. If you create a project using this month's layout, please post in our Flickr group, or link us here.

As you probably noticed, we are missing one designer. We said our sad goodbyes to Laina last month. We'll miss her and her beautiful work. But we'll definitely be stalking her blog!

The best time of the year.......

CHA is just around the corner which means SNEAKS and gorgeous new products!  I wanted to share a few of my faves with you...first up?  My personal fave:

These are my favorite fall colors this year, and Lily Bee NAILED it!

I also like the palatte that Kaisercraft used for their fall line:

And of course, there's Prima. Always good things.

I am very intrigued by the new October Afternoon line, too.

The Gallery for July is Up!

Here is one from me featuring several photos of my daughter playing at the park...love how the colors from my photos really ended up standing out with the little pops of yellow and red that I incorporated.



Check out this lovely layout from Amy...that photo is just adorable! Love, love, love how she stitched on this layout, added some inks and used some punches. What a fun layout to create!



And I love the simplicity of Linda's layout here and how she clustered those four photos together in the center of her page. Perfection!

Sneak of July Projects!

From me anyways! I've got family coming this way to visit over the Fourth of July weekend so wanted to be sure to give myself ample crafty time with this bright and vibrant kit for July...just so happened that I was able to get my layouts done in time and wanted to be sure to pass along a little sneaky peeky for you all to enjoy! Really great colors in this kit which makes it extremely versatile for scrapping...can't wait for the full reveal, your gonna love it!
